SpecialShit Smoked Cream Cheese (from the kitchen of Keri-Lynne Miller)
Many thanks to Keri-Lynne for submitting this recipe. This delicious smoked cream cheese pairs especially well with crackers, raspberry jam and a glass of wine.
Ingredients :
- 3 packages of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- SpecialShit
Preparation:
- Unwrap the cream cheese and place the chunks side-by-side onto a folded bed of heavy aluminum foil.
- Brush the surface of the cheese with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with your desired amount of SpecialShit.
- Using your favorite wood chips (I use mesquite or hickory), smoke in an electric smoker at 200°F for 2 hours or while smoking a piece of meat, such as brisket or ribs.
