Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe
Creamy, spicy, and satisfying, this pasta dish is quick and easy and will make your family fight over the leftovers (if there are any!).
Ingredients :
- 8 oz farfalle pasta
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 3 tsp AwShit
- 4 ounces cream cheese , softened and cut into small pieces
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
Preparation:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
- Cook chicken and bell peppers. In skillet, melt the butter, add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the chicken pieces and season with AwShit. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until chicken is nearly cooked through.
- Finish sauce. Add the milk and cream cheese, stirring well until cream cheese has melted and sauce is smooth, 2-3 minutes.
- Add pasta and cheese and stir together.
